For the first burn, make sure the wax melts all the way to the edges of the jar. This prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.

Do not burn an outdoor candle inside — these candles are made for outside use only.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and don’t burn it for more than 4 hours at a time to protect the surface underneath.
